I wrote Bruce Café a few moths back When I was really down in the dumps and feeling like shit. My buddy Chris told me about the place so I rode my motorcycle out there one morning . Bruce Cafe is in Bruce Florida about 25 minutes from my house. It is pretty much the only thing in Bruce Florida. It has been there for 65 years and so have the patrons. I pretty much go there for breakfast every day now. It always takes me back in time and gives me a good feeling. No 9$ lattes , and nobody with a cellphone jammed up in their face . You can get a hot breakfast and hot coffee for about six bucks and you won’t find better service anywhere. I never told the folks at Bruce Café that I was a musician or that I ever wrote a song about Bruce Café. I think it’s better that way. I wouldn’t want to bring them or me any unwanted attention. It’s perfect just the way it is. Somethings are better just left alone. If you make it out to Bruce Café don’t tell them I sent you just enjoy the experience for what it is.
